Choosing the right boat
If you are new to rowing, you may ask “what is the right boat?” Apollo Rowing recommends that you should select the boat based on your rowing environment – not on your rowing skill level. Rowing a sliding seat scull is very much like riding a bike. While it may be tricky at first, once you learn, you quickly master the feel of balance and rhythm of the stroke. Similar to a bike, you should select the type of boat based on where you plan to ride it. 1X Razor is like a traditional 10-speed bike built for speed on flat surfaces, while an Albatross is akin to a mountain bike built for rougher conditions. Make the decision today and start rowing tomorrow! |
