Albatross CK Coastal Racer

The Albatross CK Coastal Racer is a fast and stable recreational boat that is ideal for recreational rowers or coastal rowers. Rowers don’t have to trade speed for stability on rough water, as the Albatross provides a wider and deeper hull for stability combined with sleek lines for speed. The Albatross CK design ensures safety and stability for rowers when the chop builds and offers a comfortable ride for any level of rower.

Albatross CK utilizes a Carbon-Kevlar® hybrid laminate which provides the puncture resistive properties of Kevlar® with the hard and light weight properties of carbon. Kevlar’s® ductility prevents it from shattering or suffering the kind of catastrophic failure more common in 100% carbon composites. Rigidity and hull structure is enhanced with carbon ribs and light weight Coremat’s® non-woven microspheres, resulting in 60% weight savings compared to chopped strand mat fiberglass. The hull is vacuum sealed and cured at high temperature with epoxy resin, then finished with automotive-grade paint giving it a hard glossy shine. The Albatross CK comes with aluminum wing rigger and velcro shoes.
